MISSION STATEMENT: Free Again, Inc. is a volunteer, non-profit organization providing the Southern Illinois region with rehabilitation services for injured, ill, or orphaned wildlife. Through awareness and education, we encourage a peaceful coexistence between people and our native wildlife
Free Again has been providing rehabilitation services to injured and orphaned wild animals in Illinois since 1988.
Free Again Wildlife is a 501 (C)(3) non-profit corporation supported entirely by donations of time materials and financial contributions from donors and receives no funding from city, state or federal entities. Contributions are utilized to purchase medical supplies and feed; perform laboratory, diagnostic and surgical procedures; and to help maintain the facilities.
When you support Free Again you:
Give animals life-saving care and a second chance in the wild * Maintain our facility and improve standards of care * Promote advocacy in the community
-
Support a Resident Animal
In addition to our short-term rescues and releases, we have a number of animals with injuries that prevent them from ever re-entering the wild.
-
Support Spring Babies
Baby season each spring means hundreds of bottle fed deer, opposums, raccoons, squirrels, rabbits, and other young wildlife.
-
Support our facilities
Help us keep our animal homes safe and secure, and help support the much needed upkeep of structures around our site.
